Our Story
For years, we've watched grassroots sports clubs, societies and community groups face the same frustrations. Volunteers chasing payments, committee members juggling spreadsheets and organisers spending more time on administration than bringing people together.
Time and time again, we saw communities held back by software that was too complicated, too expensive or simply not built for the way grassroots organisations operate. The people giving the most to their communities deserved something better.
That's why we created Manageasy. A simple, affordable platform designed to remove the stress of managing a community, bringing everything together in one place so volunteers can spend less time on admin and more time doing what they love.
Meet Oscar Haywood the Founder of Manageasy
After graduating from Cardiff University where I studied Engineering, I began working in financial software. While the experience gave me invaluable insight into building software, I knew I wanted to apply those skills to something I was genuinely passionate about.
Sport has been a huge part of my life since I first picked up a tennis racket at seven years old. Since then, I've competed in a wide range of sports, represented my county at national badminton tournaments, played rugby in America, and, most importantly, spent over a decade volunteering on committees across multiple clubs. From Treasurer and Secretary to Captain and President, I've experienced first-hand the dedication it takes to keep grassroots communities running.
No matter the sport, I kept seeing the same problems. Volunteers were spending too much time chasing payments, managing spreadsheets and organising members, instead of growing their communities. That's why I created Manageasy, to give the people who keep grassroots clubs alive the simple, affordable tools they deserve.
